Gayle Gilbert is responsible for managing financial reporting and controls for Alexandria’s group operations in the Cayman Islands and Barbados, including capital management and financial regulatory compliance. Gayle is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
Gayle has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry and has lived and worked in Cayman since 2003. Prior to joining Alexandria in 2015, Gayle was financial controller of a Cayman-based private bank and trust company, and previously was head of financial controls for UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd., and an auditor and risk advisory accountant for KPMG. Before moving to Cayman, Gayle also worked with KPMG in Leeds and Newcastle Upon Tyne.
